# Getting Started Welcome to Lodestone Documentation! This guide will help you get started with our platform. ## What is Lodestone? Lodestone is a community-driven platform for discovering, hosting, and managing your Minecraft projects! In this documentation, we are specifically targeting our plugins section! ## Learn about our plugins Our plugins are very sophisticated, meaning it may take some time learning how to use its full potential. In our documentation page, you can learn how to use each and every one of our plugins! - [Bookshelf](https://docs.lode.gg/bookshelf/server-owners/overview) - A modern EssentialsX replacement, making commands feel more vanilla while adding the "Quality of Life" (QOL) commands and features you need. - [Lead](https://docs.lode.gg/lead/server-owners/overview) - A lightweight plugin that creates visual based teams. Can be used for Civilization, Battle Royale, or SMPs in general. Extensive API Included. - [Observer](https://docs.lode.gg/observer/server-owners/overview) - Observer is a lightweight plugin that completely overhauls your event management. Whether if you want bossbars, tab, scoreboards, nameplates, etc. We'll frame it all for you! - [Painting](https://docs.lode.gg/painting/server-owners/overview) - Painting is an all-in-one Minecraft resource pack serving plugin for Paper and Velocity — ditch the third-party hosts, serve packs straight from your network or server. ## Do we use AI in our products? Starting on January 4th 2026, we started the use of using AI to spearhead our projects. AI is used for the following reasons: - CI/CD - Changelog Documenting - Plugin Documentations - GitHub Copilot (Autocomplete) - Ideation - External Web Research - Security Reviews & Analysis - Development > Following the incident on May 29, 2026 where we recklessly left a debug **backdoor** and obfuscation tag enabled on the [Name Tag](https://lode.gg/plugin/name) plugin. We now use AI to audit any security vulnerabilities prior to shipping any Loaders or Blobs on our website.
